- In proportioning design mix concrete the quantity of both cement and aggregates shall be determined by weight. Water shall be measured by volume in calibrated tanks or weighted. All measuring equipment shall be maintained in clean serviceable condition and their accuracy shall he periodical checked.
- The material shall be stock piled for several hours, preferably a day before use.
- Where the aggregates supplied are not graded, different sizes shall be blended in right proportions. The different size shall be stacked in separate stock piles.
