Specifications of Quality Requirements

These should be laid down in the following manner: 

1. Specify the grade of the concrete as per IS 456-1964 i.e. M 15, M 20, etc. 
2. Specify the standards of work ability, place ability and compatibility by giving slump or compacting factor values and minimum density of compact& concrete 
3. Specify limits of  tolerances for (1) & (2), 
4. Specify limits of fire resistance etc.
