General Points

1. All formwork and supports must be rigidly  braced, this assumes more importance when mechanical, vibrators are used.  After tightening all wedges should be nailed in place to prevent them slipping. 
2. All nails  used on formwork face should never be left protruding 
3. Mould oil must be evenly applied to all surfaces with which the concrete is going to come in contact  with. 
4. All rubbish  must be cleaned iron the interior of the  forms before allowing concrete to proceed. Cleaning is then achieved by the use of wire brushes or compressed air.
